Book Design
You are Going to Die is a book design project exploring mortality and society's compulsion to look away from it. The slipcase is hand-cut granite engraved with the title, transforming the book object into a skin textured-like gravestone entry point. Each section moves through the stages of grief while the body copy shrinks slightly from chapter to chapter, simulating the slow passage of aging.
